Bachelor of Management Science and Information Management (Honours)(BMSIM) Programme (JUPAS Code: JSSH05)

This is a 4-year Bachelor in Management Science and Information Management programme which combines Business Education, General Education, and Specialty Studies in Management Science and Information Management. This programme is offered by the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management. Graduates will be able to integrate information technology and management science concepts and tools with managerial skills appropriately and effectively resulting in supporting complex business analysis and operations. They can grasp the opportunities in the fast-changing business world, especially when making management decisions and applying their proficiency in cutting-edge information technologies to improve current business situations or to start a new business. This Programme aims to recruit students who have strong analytical ability, quantitative skills, programming interests, good communication skills and those who want to pursue a career in Business and/or IT after graduation. In addition, all HKDSE applicants and full-time Associate/Higher Diploma Degree students are welcome to apply our programme. No prior IT knowledge nor business knowledge is required. Even though our programme is subsidised by the government under SSSDP, you may still be qualified to obtain our scholarship. The financial incentive aside, obtaining a scholarship will make your CV look very good and you will stand out in the job market.

Where are our graduates working upon the completion of our programme?

4. Starting Salary of our Graduates
The results of graduate employment survey in 2017 revealed that the average salary of BMSIM graduates was increased by 9.4%, compared to the graduates in 2016. The increasing salary speaks to the fact that the knowledge and skills our graduates possessed are highly valued by industry.

5. Performance of Year One Intake in HKDSE
The HKDSE scores (Best Five Subjects) of 2017 BMSIM intake range from 13 to 20. In addition to public examination results, other factors such as interview performance may also be considered. Please note that the HKDSE scores of admitted students in Year 1 may not be indicative of the HKDSE scores of candidates to be admitted in 2018/19.
